Meditating With Essential Oils
• Sit quietly in your sacred space. • Select a few oils to anoint your energy centers or symbolic body. • Listen to guided meditation of your choosing • Open yourself up to the influence of the oils on your aura and energy body. My experiences in the past while trying to meditate: At first shutting off the turmoil, and loudness that is always present in my house makes it difficult to meditate. Then I go to a quiet place, start my meditation MP3, and anoint myself with aromatherapy oils. I know relaxation is just moments away. Suddenly the aroma of rose, cedar wood, frankincense and myrrh start traveling my mind to a place of serenity and soft energy. I am walking through a field of wildflowers on a peaceful hike full of butterflies, soft sun glowing on my shoulders. Suddenly I'm not drifting off to serenity and all of a sudden I'm thinking about things that upset me during the day.
