Happy New Year- Self Healing

Today is a great Day to reflect on how you can make subtle changes in your life. Start everyday thinking about what your blessings are. All of us should have a place in our home to create a sacred place that reminds us of what we have to be thankful for. When I get melancholy about things that bring me down in life such as lack of income, stress or just the day to day grind,  I go to my sacred space and see pictures of what makes me happy, I visualize the family,  and friends I have in my life. I have a large frame on the wall 24 x 36" in diameter that I made into a collage with pictures of all the times that made me happy, it helps to keep me centered on what's truly important.
Ideally if you have the space I would suggest creating an area that you can go to isolate the outside world,  start out slowly by practicing meditation. Make this  your personal area, decorate the space in what makes you feel at peace.  I would paint the walls with a soft color, and have a mini water fall running with soft instrumental music playing, I would also have lots of foliage to bring nature inside. I would use my space for yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, and self hypnosis. I don't have the space in my home so I created a way for you to have your personal space visit holisticcraft.com where we can create a "Spirit Box" that includes a self hypnosis CD, a warming and soothing neck wrap, eye mask, and aromatherapy essential oil. The "Spirit Box" can be ordered in a larger size so you can put in additional sacred items. Self healing through self hypnosis, meditation and aromatherapy is something you can can use without a large space or if you have all the space you need. This is one resolution that can't be broken because if you only use your "Spirit Box" one time you've learned how to self heal.
