Have you ever wondered what your life path is supposed to be? It seems like some individuals have it all together, they know what direction to head in as if someone gave them a golden compass on the day they were born.
I went through years misguided, yes in the back of my brain I knew I was destined to help people heal, I just took the long route helping them through working in traditional medicine. All those years it was right in front of me instead of just escorting, and taking patients into the room,  gathering their vitals, and charting their notes I wanted to know them on a deeper level, I intently listened to their stories,  if they were happy I rejoiced with them, sad I would listen, comfort and try to guide them. I was always in trouble for taking too much time with patients, and generally being over caring.  I never concerned myself with that reality.  I would gladly take the reprimand to try and console a mother who is so withered, and sad as she has no idea how to cope with her mentally ill son, or the person who just lost a loved one unexpectedly, or  just received news that they have a malignancy, maybe they might start crying due to the stress of life. People just have always been drawn to me, and I have always had the gift of strong intuition, and a clear knowing of how to comfort and guide them For years side by side my Medical Assistant work, I also did aesthetic work, I noticed people came to me more for the conversing more than anything else, growth came because of kindness,  and compassion, not the service they paid for.
I went through just as many years being confused about my psychic gifts and healing abilities. The obvious was right there in front of me yet I had not a clue how to endure, moreover, I  wondered was my gift from God, my Cherokee ancestors, my psychic mother, Celtic traditions, the universe. I listened to everyone else, however, it just became more perplexed. How could I be raised in the Christian faith, and believe so many spiritual paths, and faith?  Every time I had the answer someone would come along and quash my ideals.
The person born with the golden compass maybe an older soul ?  Were they lucky enough to have that golden compass from the time of birth? Are they just more evolved? Is their mind better wired? Was their soul path contracted before birth ?
Most of us are destined to have a sacred path, our souls desire. Humanness takes over, nevertheless we become devotees of what others do. Most of us become what our parents, spouses, significant others or friends covet for us. Think about youth it's always the same, you can fill in the blank "Little Katerina is going to be a ........." Of course I definitely thought my daughter would be a ballerina.
