Are You Really Awake or Waking

One can gain knowledge of what it takes to be spiritually
awake, gain knowledge through reading, research, and being part of groups. Yet,
they will not be truly awakened. Many of us are in a state of self-consciousness,
we are asking questions, and seeking knowledge. The fact that you have come to
the point of self-consciousness is at the very beginning of the journey. No one
at this stage of waking has to rid themselves of egotistical ways, this can be
hard to do, so at first you’ll make mistakes, such as losing your temper, being
jealousy, etc.
To be fully awake which I like to call celestial, takes
time. When a client wants spiritual coaching I explain to them in depth what
coaching is about in regards to guiding to an awakened state, many want you to
wave a magic wand and sprinkle them with fairy dust, and bam their awake. This
is not how the path to awakening works; you are the one that needs to do the
work. The work however, is so worth it.
Many of us need to learn that ego is a deviation from
consciousness, you aren’t living in the present, scarcely aware of your
surroundings, and not looking at things as if it is the first time you saw it.
For example, after years of marriage many reminisce about when they first met,
their faces light up, they look happy, and relaxed. In that moment you are
fully aware you’re back in a time when you first saw the love of your life.
Another example is to be like a child, everything is being seen for the first
time. Practice seeing everything for the first time.
These are things that are helpful on your journey:
Be attentive to things surrounding you and in the present
state.
Divide your attention into observer and observed.
Contemplate and Practice being in a meditative state.
If you are waking you’ll show you’ll start to dissolve ego.
A conscious person reacts in a conscious way.
Ego is born from a deviation of consciousness.
Feel with the head.
Think with the heart.
A healthy body is a relaxed body
Relax your body from tension.
Ego makes you tense, Calm inner voices with meditation.
Observe, see, feel, and relax.
Deactivate my turn will come, say “Life”, goes on!!
Separate ourselves from our work day with,
Music
Meditation
Ambient surroundings
Relax!
