Plant Medicine

Yesterday I went for a walk in the forest area near our condo. It’s my favorite place. The forest area is small and then it leads into a marsh like area with wildflowers, catnip, and tall grass. Tomorrow I’m going to gather pine needles to make flower essences. We have spruce, and a few other pine trees. These trees always give me very high energy and happiness. Pine is known to help anyone who likes to take on blame for everything, even things they didn’t do or would be out of anyone’s control. Very good for overconscientious individuals. Healers and empaths will do well on Pine Flower Essence as it helps with the intuitive process. Those that suffer mental stress inwardly and over compensate outwardly will find balance. This Essence will help you feel grounded and in control of emotions. A very strong Essence for spiritual connections.

I walked barefoot through the grass and moss. Moss has very special calming, and grounding feeling, and it is excellent at getting feet circulating. On my journey tomorrow I will attempt to identify future flowers to make into little gems. Flower Essences are very easy to make, and practically cost nothing to make. Make sure when you are foraging for Essence’s you ask permission, this is a very spiritual, and earthing ritual. I always say a prayer of thanks for the gift of nature.

Since they are subtle energetic remedies, the essences tend to work mostly on the subtle and energetic aspects of ourselves.... For example, a common root cause of suffering is low self- esteem and feelings of unworthiness, which have many consequences ranging from inaction and disengagement from life, to more outwardly destructive or extreme self-sabotaging behavior. Flower essences are profound in that they are actually able to transform these root causes into something positive and improve our overall health.
