Light Through The Mask Of Depression

Image
For all of us that have lived with depression or anxiety. I encourage you to find a way to keep a bit of your shadow side. The darkness brings out creativity and artistic talent.  I would like to challenge all those that have a loved one, or friend that has a depressive disorder to truly see the person as they are, love them for who they are. I encourage you to look within your "soul", correct you! It took me years to find peace within myself, and ask for forgiveness to those I've tried to change. After all mental illness is just that an illness, one can control that only to a point, the rest is left up to their brain. When your suffering with depression it's not like you can switch off the disease and suddenly all is well. Learn to use that as a catalyst of change. Find what's calling to you, if you feel like nobody understands put it into writing, drawing, or any other creative outlet. Remember if they've never had depression, then they are most likely jud...

Happiness Is An Inside Job!

Image
Nobody is responsible for your happiness!! Stop thinking others have that control over you, bottom line you're the problem and you need to repair things on a subconscious level. Is your ego in the way? Is laziness in the way? Is thinking only of self in the way? Is past trauma and abuse in the way? Are you overly codependent? Do you like to control others? Do you let others control you? Do you stay in jobs or life situations you hate? Do you take care of your mental and physical health? Do you have a religious or spiritual path? Do you do acts of kindness from your heart or do you do them for material gain? If you answered yes to any of the above it may be time for intervention, either by yourself or with help from: Spiritual Life Coach Mind and Body Wellness Practitioner  Licensed Therapist For the month of October,  Mental Health Awareness Month I will offer half off my services. As always you can contact me if your in financial need of discounts. Photo source: Rebel Thriver...

I Love His Books!

Image
I want to encourage my family, friends, and clients all to read Anthony William's books. Medical Medium and Life Changing Foods, I'm currently reading. I for one love the beginning of the book when he talks about how those of us that have had diseases take over our life can be so misunderstood by others that are never sick. We are not talking about common things that we all get, like the common cold. He is talking about diseases such as Alzheimer's, MS, RA, Colitis, Thyroiditis, Fibromyalgia, Cancer, and many more... He goes on to say "We're dealing with an epidemic of mystery illness". For many with these disease are in the same place, modern medicine doesn't have all the answers. He goes on further to say that the entry age to nursing homes is starting younger than it was in past times. Anthony goes on to say "we have to get wise about protecting ourselves".  DDT an insecticide from the past is known to have caused disease, heavy metals, radi...

Pain Warrior

Image
A Pain Warrior is one that has a disease that causes pain in their everyday life. Most warriors have been given several different traditional medicine remedies, and yet many don't work. Doctors are reluctant to write prescriptions for narcotics due to drug dependency. Prescription drugs usually only work temporarily. As years go by living in pain everyday you become a warrior, each day is pain filled. Each day a different challenge. Will you be able to move today? Will you have to cancel the days plans? Will you be able to cope emotionally? Will you be angry and take your pain out on others?  Others look at you and see you as healthy. If you look good how can you be sick? Being sick means you should show the world dark circles, and bags under your eyes, go out with your unkept hair, and wear yesterday's clothes. At first when you become ill you appear that way for a while and then you realize being part of everyday life is more important, so you mask the reality.  Many can'...

#5 Soul Goal

Image
#5 Soul Goal How do you find out who your authentic self is? Well, you could start by identifying who you really are by stripping away everything that is not your truth or what others want you to be. This can take time, for example if you always wanted to be a chef yet you're working in construction because it's the family business, you may hate it. You have to find a way, maybe take baby steps, towards your goals. I'd start by taking classes part time in culinary arts. So many of us have fears of judgement from our family, friends, and coworkers. The judgement part of our religious and spiritual needs really scares us; we think it over in our heads like a constant loop. "What will my parents think of me converting to Buddhism, when they are strict Catholics?" "What would Christian friends think me studying esotericism?"  You don't need approval from others; you'll never make your soul visible if you're living your life for others. Take care...

Love of Humanity

Image
Usually I choose to stay out of things that might be considered a hot topic. After many months contemplating how much hatred is in the world, I feel that when we see an act of kindness it warms our hearts. My wish for all of us is that we may open up and awaken. We are all the same, divine light and love. No matter how much hatred, racism, and violence is shown to us everyday. We need to work together as one to bring peace to our world. There is hope if we have faith in humanity and let loving humanness shine. When you see unloving acts being done to others don't try to correct it with more anger, racism, and violence. "We are all in this together." I understand that many of you will say this has all been said before. The starting point for each of us is "self." How can we illuminate our love and light to help others know they are truly divine?

#4 Soul Goal

Image
#4 Soul Goal By now you will notice every time your drifting backwards from your goals. You will have some very emotional days, many of your emotions may feel exaggerated. You may also feel within your family and friend circle that know one quite gets "you." This part of your soul journey will make you feel very isolated and that's exactly the right feeling. As you spend more time in quiet reflection you will be closer to your spiritual side and open to gaining the knowledge needed to awaken. The following quote is a good example of self discovery. "When you sit quietly and let go of every false self-definition , of everything you think you know about who you are, and then be what’s left, what remains is the untarnished presence of who you’ve always been and still really are.” Erich Schiffmann  This book will help you with your inner silence: https://www.amazon.com/Path-Silence-Mikhael-Aivanhov-Omraam/dp/285566473X
