Skin is the largest organ of our body, and just like the rest of our body responds well to good nutrition. I recommend a diet high in antioxidants, omega 3, vitamins A, B, C, D, E, minerals, Zinc, Magnesium, low glycemic index, and high anti inflammatory foods. Drink lots of water! Tumeric Ginger Nuts and seeds Artichokes Berries (Blueberry, Acacia, Goji) Dark chocolate Green leafy vegetables( Kale, Spinach) Salmon & Sardines Herbal and green tea Avocado Citrus fruits Pumpkin and Squash Some studies show an increase of Acne and Rosacea, from dairy products, also avoid any known food allergens. Spicy and hot foods increase Rosacea. Greasy food causes Acne on contact in some people. Psoriasis and Eczema respond well to a diet with Vitamins and Omega 3.
